All modern cars and vans are fitted with an Engine Control Unit (ECU) which acts as the brain of the car, allocating resources to run the vehicle and logging the multitude of messages received from the numorous sensors positioned throughout the car or van. Upon receiving an error message, the ECU can trigger one or more of the “Check” lights on the dashboard.
You can book your van or car in for a Diagnostics test at Xtreme Tyres using our Online Booking System. Simply enter your van or cars registration number then select the date and time that is most convenient to you. Once confirmed, you will be sent an email containing the details of your booking. No payment is taken at this stage. You pay once the test has been completed by our technicians at Xtreme Tyres.
At Xtreme Tyres we can test both your van or car battery to tell you how much life you have left in it. We can also analyse the alternator to check that it is working as it should, to double check that it is the battery that needs replacing.
